Lesson 10: Properties of Logarithms

07/22/2016

Lesson on understanding logarithm using its properties. These properties are helpful in condensing and expanding the logarithmic equations. Keep in mind the important details to be able to use the necessary properties in logarithmic equations.

0:59 log3x base 7
1:31 log(x/7) base 11
1:48 log(5x^2)
3:38 log (4(x+5)^2 / x^4 (x-3)^3 ) base 8
6:45 logx base 7 + logy base 7
6:58 3logx + log2
7:54 3logx base 2 -- 4log(x+3) base 2 + logy base 2
10:05 Let log 7 base b = 12, log3 base b = 5, and log12 base b = 31
