Lesson 27: Writing Linear Equations By Finding The Y-Intercept Given a Point and a Slope

Lesson on writing the equation of a line in a slope-intercept form given a slope and a point. The slope-intercept form is represented in the equation of y= mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. The points can be given in coordinates or in intercepts.
1:09 Line is passing through the point (3,4) and given a slope of 2.
3:18 Given a slope of ½, write the equation of a line passing through the point (8, -3).
