Lesson 58: Solving Equations with Square Roots

07/03/2016

Lesson on solving equations that have radicals. Just like linear equations, we want to solve for x. Getting rid of the radical sign allows you to look for the value of x.

0:25 sqrt x -- 3 = 4
1:22 sqrt x + 5 = 1
2:03 5 + sqrt x = 7
2:43 sqrt (x-3) = 4
3:41 sqrt (3m + 4) = sqrt (5m -- 6)
