Common questions

FAQ for administrators

Is the student content really free? What's the catch?

Yes, completely free. No trial period, no freemium tier. Numberbender Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — the free access is part of the mission, not a marketing strategy. All videos are on YouTube (no login required) and all worksheets are downloadable PDFs. Institutions can link to or embed any content without a licensing agreement.

Can we integrate Numberbender content into Canvas, Blackboard, or another LMS?

Yes. All videos can be embedded via YouTube's standard embed code. Worksheet PDFs can be linked or uploaded directly into any LMS course. The CC BY 4.0 license explicitly allows this with attribution. No separate integration agreement is required.

Are the materials aligned to any standards?

For California community colleges: all transfer-level and developmental courses are aligned to the statewide C-ID standard. For K-12: algebra, statistics, and calculus content maps broadly to common course sequences. For the Philippines: content was designed alongside Filipino math curricula and bilingual instruction models.

Does Dr. E travel internationally for workshops or conferences?

Is there a fee for workshops and keynotes?

Yes — professional development engagements are fee-based to support the nonprofit's operations. Free resources for students (videos, worksheets, course library) remain free. Contact us for a quote based on your institution's format and needs. Nonprofit and public school pricing is available.
